Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Cult of Peptides collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to residents of Canada (including Ontario, governed by PIPEDA), the European Union, and all other jurisdictions.

What We Collect

Email address

If you subscribe to The Congregation, we collect your email address. This is handled through Beehiiv, our email platform. Your email is used exclusively to send you the publication’s dispatches. We do not sell it. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send you.

Analytics data

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4). GA4 collects anonymized data about how visitors use the site — pages visited, time on page, general geographic region, device type, and traffic source. This data is used to understand what content is useful and how the site is performing. It is not used to identify individual users.

GA4 uses cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically logs standard server data: IP addresses, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. This data is retained according to Hostinger’s data retention policy and is used for security and operational purposes.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, address, phone number, payment information, or any health data. We do not build profiles of individual users. We do not use tracking pixels beyond GA4.

Cookies

This site uses cookies for two purposes: analytics (GA4) and basic WordPress functionality. No advertising cookies are used. No third-party tracking beyond GA4 is present.

Your Rights

Canadian residents (PIPEDA): You have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to request correction of inaccurate information. Requests can be made by emailing editor@cultofpeptides.com.

EU/EEA residents (GDPR): You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your personal data. You have the right to object to processing and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, email editor@cultofpeptides.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Data Retention

Email subscriber data is retained for as long as you remain subscribed. Upon unsubscribe, your email is removed from active lists. GA4 data retention is set to 14 months. Server logs are retained per Hostinger’s policy.
